Margaret "Dolly" Fulk

Margaret "Dolly" Fulk, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the age of 93, in Phoenix, Arizona. Dolly was born on September 29, 1930, the daughter of Floyd and Grace Noel.

She grew up in Worthington, Indiana where she graduated from Worthington High School and met her husband, Ralph "Cotton" Fulk. Dolly and Ralph were married 49 years and raised four children. Together, they lived in Worthington, Indianapolis, Carmel then Casa Grande, Arizona, finally retiring to Linton, Indiana. With the help of her daughter, Kyle, Dolly was able to make it back to Arizona in June, 2020 to enjoy her remaining years in the state she loved and to be with her great-grandchildren.

Dolly enjoyed many hobbies and shared her talents with all those around her. She successfully owned and operated her own cake decorating and flower business for several years. She provided exquisite cakes and floral arrangements for many customers, family and friends. Dolly also had a gift for sewing and would often sew dresses, outfits, and costumes for her children and grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for her ability to cook delicious meals that often brought the family together for a fried chicken dinner on Sundays. Dolly was considered "Mamaw" or "Mom" to many nieces and nephews, and family friends. She always had an abundance of love to share, and her steady smile and genuine laugh will be deeply missed by many.

Dolly is survived by her brother, Walter Noel; four children, Ryan (Nyla) Fulk, Kyle Allard, Joe Fulk, and Holly Thompson; six grandchildren, Staci Noel, Phoebe (Bobby) Coble, Heidi (David) Combs, Lauren Fulk, Kelsie Lees, and Brian Fulk; and her two great-grandchildren, Grace and Blake Combs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cotton; sister, Jane Griffin (2004); and a brother, William Noel (1970).

Deeply loved and admired, Dolly will be missed by her family and many friends.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, Indiana on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. A brief graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 PM at Worthington Cemetery.
